LOVER’s EYE

The eyes are the window to the heart 💖

Popular in the 18th and 19th centuries, a Lover's Eye miniature painting was often worn in a broach/ locket to symbolize devotion and/or remembrance of a loved one.

Eyes are one of my favorite things to paint/draw because of their complex shapes and colors.

You can commission a lover's eye from me on heart shaped handmade paper!

Pink Rabbit Series

Pink Rabbit Series

The scapegoat of using women as the causation of all of the world’s problem’s throughout history is no secret.

Whether it was the witches, trans women, queer women, black women, disabled women, native women, etc. Women are consistently and continuously overlooked, berated, and let’s be honest feared.

The fact that femininity is seen as a weakness, or defined as one specific kind of femininity (looking at white cis femininity), is something that i wanted to focus on in this series.

Rabbits are often overlooked, seen as prey, but their survival instincts and their quick wit is what keeps them alive. They come in different colors, sizes and have persevered through millions of years.
